Podstrana, a town southeast of Split. Economy is based on farming and tourism. Podstrana is located on the main road (M2, E65). Podstrana features the remains from Roman times, probably the ancient Pituntium. Two small -churches of St. George date back to the early Middle Ages. It was mentioned in the sources that the peace treaty between Duke Mislav and the Vene-tian dodge Petro Tradeni was concluded near the church of St. Martin.
